The Works Department brings together the functions of Public Works, Feeder Roads, Water and Sanitation, and Rural Housing within Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly.
The department is responsible for the construction, repair and maintenance of public roads and drains, the upkeep of public buildings and markets, and technical advice on building safety, structural stability and fire safety. It also inspects Assembly-funded projects and advises on the removal of dilapidated or unsafe structures within the Municipality.
